Who are we? What do we do?
We are Byers Roseville Gymnastics Club (BRGC), a local non-profit organization. BRGC was formed to financially assist the Byers Gymnastics team program by supporting its physical education and competitive goals. We accomplish this by hosting gymnastic competitions, generating funds to help pay for the costs associated with team competitions, and promoting and maintaining team unity.
We host 3 Meets each gymnastics season, 1 Championship Meet (i.e. State or Regional Meets) and 2 annual Gymnastics Meet, Surf Classic and Rose Gold Classic. We host our first meet of the season on the second weekend in October, Surf Classic brings about 500 gymnasts and 2000 spectators at Capital Sports Complex in McClellan, CA. Our second meet of the season is on the last weekend in January, Rose Gold Classic gymnastic meet is our larger meet and brings about 1400 gymnasts and 3500 spectators, held at the beautiful new Roebbelen Center @theGrounds in Roseville, CA. This 160,000 sq ft venue gives us the opportunity to grow this event each year. Our Championship Meets differ each year depending which Meet we have the opportunity to host. Over the season we get to meet a lot of new people and we bring in Spectators and Athletes from all over CA and surrounding states!
Our events not only help support our local gymnasts at Byers Gymnastics Center, it also brings athletes and spectators from all over together for great competition. And, it would not be possible without the support of our community and local businesses like yours! This year we are reaching out to potential sponsors to build a relationship between your business and the community by increasing your exposure, reconnecting with customers and engaging with a whole new audience.
